The backbone of every strong black church is rooted in the
strength of its congregation, which is largely composed of
black women.
The case is no different with Pastor Jones
church there are many women in the young Pastor s life.
And, of course, with women comes drama!
Pastor Jones former high school girlfriend (Vivica A.
Fox) suddenly pops back in his life and joins his church.
Meanwhile, his overprotective mother-in-law (Sheryl Lee
Ralph) is spreading gossip throughout the church and the
First Lady of the church, the Pastor s wife, is not too happy
about any of it! Pastor Jones must navigate carefully as not
to alienate any of the women.
